I felt my first kick on Monday night (May 2). It was so cool. Apparently Amy has been able to feel the baby moving around for a few weeks, but because the placenta is in the front there haven't been audible kicks to feel. I've had my hand on her stomach nonstop for a few weeks now, it seems, waiting to get one. Finally on Monday night while we were getting ready to go to sleep, I felt a little push against my hand. It wasn't very strong, but it was noticeable. And really cool.
Everything looked good at the 20-week ultrasound too. Got a 3D picture and it was pretty amazing.
Amy was laughing hard because she said I look like that when I sleep. I thought she was kidding, but then that night she took a picture of me sleeping. It's really weird: facial expression, hands near my head when I sleep .... this kid is a chip off the old block.
